Treadmill-plus-computer setups (treadputers or tread-desks) are great for getting your required daily exercise, but they sure take up an awful lot of space and can cost thousands of dollars. Editor Sarah Milstein created a DIY solution?that folds out of the way.
She and her friend built a sort of desk around an inexpensive fold-up treadmill using Ikea shelving. There's an adjustable shelf for the monitor braced to the wall and another removable one for the keyboard or laptop. Although still pretty big, this fold-away tread-desk is a nice multi-functional solution that fits even in small spaces.
If you have a workspace of your own to show off, throw the pictures on your Flickr account and add it to the Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Pool. Include some details about your setup and why it works for you, and you just might see it featured on the front page of Lifehacker.
