Leading games manufacturers in the US are hoping to enter the online gambling market as states throughout the country reassess their stance on the industry. A number of key suppliers to traditional land based sites are hoping to make their mark on the online sector ? tapping into the craze for internet casinos throughout both Europe and the UK at large.
Leading US games suppliers such as WMS are preparing to turn their attention to online British consumers.
WMS represents just the latest company to announce its designs on the online sector. The world renowned organisation, which currently supplies lottery terminals and gaming devices to bricks and mortar venues, will be turning its attention to internet casinos this year with particular emphasis on slot machines.
The firm will be offering its acclaimed branded slots titles such as the Wizard of Oz and Star Trek to users for the first time alongside new releases such as Star of India Slots and the Fortunes of the Caribbean. Existing regulations mean that the supplier currently only accepts UK players at its celebrated online casino, Jackpot Party. Meanwhile other top companies including IGT and Caesars are also doing their utmost to consolidate their hold on UK consumers. It seems that the US government will continue to debate its position on the online gaming sector as American firms push to assert their presence in both Europe and the UK.
