LONDON (AP) -Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will be out of action for three months with ruptured ankle ligaments, forcing him to miss his chance of playing with teammate Wojciech Szczesny also injured.
Fabianski, who missed Poland's midweek match against England while recovering from a shoulder injury, ruptured his ankle ligaments in training for Arsenal on Thursday. He saw a specialist the same day, and manager Arsene Wenger says he will need surgery.
Szczesny, Arsenal and Poland's first choice goalkeeper, is due to come back from his ankle injury in two weeks.
Vito Mannone, Arsenal's only other senior goalkeeper, will start for Arsenal when the team travels to Norwich on Saturday.
