A couple of weeks ago, we introduced the Liberty Ballers campaign to "box out breast cancer". Not-so-creative basketball puns aside, I'd just like to remind everybody that there are still 8 days left to help us reach our goal of $760 for the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
For those of you who missed the first article associated with this initiative, I'll be participating in the aforementioned event as a representative of the greatest Sixers blog in the history of the entire universe (this one, guys). We set a themed goal of $760 in donations and are on our way to attaining it. We need a few more friendly, generous donations from the greatest readers/commenters the internet has ever seen.
If we're lucky enough to reach that figure, we've got special prizes lined up to award a winner chosen at random out of those who donated. Two tickets to a Sixer home game of his/her choice, a free ticket and beverage at the Liberty Ballers meet-up in December, or a courtesy Liberty Ballers themed t-shirt await the victor of the drawing. However, these will only be awarded if we exceed that $760 goal. What could be better than helping to fight against breast cancer and getting free Sixers tickets in the process? In my opinion, not much.
