More than $150,000 was raised at the 2012 Mentors Award Gala to benefit the treatment and education programs for at-risk youth served by Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services.
Held Oct. 17 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, the evening honored two of Optimist?s major supporters ? The proceeds include $34,000, which was raised through a live auction at the gala and earmarked to match a challenge grant from the Weingart Foundation.
