Little League Dispute and Golf Course High Jinx

Local police departments provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

A Skokie little league coach struck a player?s father in the face following a dispute, police said. The victim was picking up equipment near a football sideline when his son?s coach approached him and asked if he?d called the coach?s wife a derogatory name. The coach then proceeded to strike the man in the face with an open hand, the report stated.

Someone took an unsecured four person EZ Go Golf cart and put it into water hole on a Highland Park golf course.?

Domestic disturbance at the Ichabod Crane residence

A pumpkin was found smashed on the street in Highland Park and a double pane window in the front of the residence that is approximately 6 feet high by 5 feet wide had a fist size hole in it with broken glass found on the porch.

Someone threw two?flag sticks, a bench, a golf cup and a lacrosse net into the pond at a Northbrook golf course, according to police. Three more flag sticks were unaccounted for and some minor, reparable damage was done to the #7 green, police say.
